News: Destiny’s last bit of new content will be available beginning next week and will be a celebration of the player’s journey.

”Destiny"

With Destiny 2 reportedly coming later this year that means that the original Destiny is going to stop being supported from a DLC standpoint. On March 28th, Age of Triumph, will go live and will be the final live update for Destiny.

Age of Triumph is a celebration of the player's journey through the world of Destiny. Guiding their travels, the largest Record Book to date will contain pages of new challenges to complete for most of Destiny activities. In addition to conquering the new Record Book, players will be able to experience the return of iconic Raids raised to 390 Light, take on the new Daybreak Nightfall modifier, earn new gear and weapons, collect items of Destiny's past, and more.

If you haven’t jumped into Destiny yet and you still want to do so before the sequel gets released you can buy the Destiny collection for $59.99 on Xbox Live and PSN or get the physical version at stores like Best Buy or Amazon for $39.99. If you happen to be a member of Best Buy’s Gamers Club Unlocked you can pick it up for $31.99. The Destiny Collection includes the following:

  • Destiny base game

  • Expansion I: The Dark Below

  • Expansion II: House of Wolves

  • The Taken King

  • Rise of Iron

  • Level 40 Character Boost

  • Take a look at the trailer for Age of Triumph and tell us what you think. Are you excited for this new content? Do you plan on picking up Destiny 2 when it launches later this year?
