Ubisoft has recently revealed that if you haven’t picked up Watch Dogs 2 yet you can download a free trial and play the full game for up to three hours. You will be able to explore a massive and dynamic open world offering a great variety of gameplay possibilities. You can hack into the city’s infrastructure, every connected device and everyone’s personal database. You will be able to take control of drones, cars, cranes, security robots and much more.
Watch Dogs 2 is set in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. The free trial is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It is available now on the PlayStation 4 while Xbox One gamers can download it beginning on January 24. Please keep in mind that normal Xbox Live and PS Plus memberships are required for online gameplay.
If you decide to participate in this trial and you decide to buy the full game as a result your progress will transfer. That means everything you have earned in your first three hours will be available to you. It is important to note that Ubisoft has stated that achievements/trophies are not available in trials like this, however, Xbox One gamers will have achievements unlock that they earned during this trial period once you buy the game. If you choose to buy it you can do so at any time by visiting the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store and purchasing it. You do not need to go through the full three hours to buy it and if you decide to buy it you won’t have to download anything else since the game will already be on your system. Finally since you are downloading the full game you will need around 25-28 GB of space on your hard drive. The download size varies by region due to localization.
