News: Virtual farmers rejoice as the popular Farming Simulator franchise will be making an appearance on Nintendo’s newest console.
The Farming Simulator franchise is coming to the Nintendo Switch according to Focus Home Interactive. The Farming Simulator franchise is pretty popular worldwide (although I’m not sure how popular it is in the U.S.) and this should be another great third party addition to the Switch lineup. In Farming Simulator you expand your farm through tons of varied activities: plant, harvest, take part in forestry activities and more, all with your dedicated machines.
In addition to that you will be able to breed and transport animals like cows, sheep and pigs. There will be a new and immersive American environment that you can play in and one has to assume there will also be a European location like in previous iterations of the franchise. You will be able to use and drive over 50 faithfully reproduced farming vehicles and tools, including AGCO’s most respected brands: Challenger, Fendt, Massey, Ferguson and Valtra. While tending to your farm you will be able to grow new crops such as sunflowers, sugar beet, potatoes, wheat canola and corn.
A release date was not given for Farming Simulator on the Switch which is a disappointment but I’m sure it will come sooner rather than later. Have you played the Farming Simulator franchise before? Do you plan to pick it up on the Nintendo Switch?
