Banner Saga 2 has added localized languages for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and mobile. The team also announced the launch of the fully localized game in Japan. The latest update across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS and Android now provides localized support for French, German, Polish and Italian languages. This latest round of localization brings it in line with the PC Steam version of the game.

Banner Saga 2 is the sequel to the award winning, BAFTA nominated, indie hit The Banner Saga, an epic Viking role-playing strategy game where a player's choice directly affects their personal journey.

"We are incredibly happy to be launching in Japan and to be able to add additional language support to Banner Saga 2 so that fans of the series all around the world can enjoy this epic saga," said John Watson, Technical Director at Stoic. "It's always been our aim to make the game as accessible and rewarding as possible for all our fans." he added.

The choices you make in Banner Saga affect who lives, who dies and how you can survive. If you played the first game, the choices you made will influence how you start Banner Saga 2. If you are new, or just want to take the default route, we have made some choices for you. Either way, hard choices are ahead.

Have you played the Banner Saga games yet? If not, do you plan on doing so?
