The Nintendo Switch was revealed recently and the reveal appears to have gone over really well with most gamers. If you anxiously awaiting for new details about the Switch though you have a bit of a wait. The Nintendo Switch console is currently set to be released in March, however, you won’t learn any more details of the new console until January.
In a presentation to financial analysts in Tokyo, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima revealed that there will be a “Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017.” This will be an event for invited media, financial analysts and trade partners in Tokyo that will be globally livestreamed on January 12. This presentation will include key details such as the exact launch date for the Nintendo Switch, how much it will cost and it will also give us a look at some of the games that are currently in development for Nintendo’s new console.
Mr. Kimishima also revealed that there will be Nintendo Switch “sampling events” for invited media, partners, and consumers that will take place in the U.S. and Europe after the big presentation on January 12. What that hopefully means is that after January 12 there will be a big flood of information regarding the Nintendo Switch from various outlets and we will have more answers than questions at that point.
