Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection is coming to Xbox One and PS4 according to Ubisoft. They also revealed an important milestone that the franchise has hit with more than 100 million copies being sold since the Assassin’s Creed franchise launched back in 2007.
“Creating an Assassin’s Creed game is no easy task. It takes the creativity and hard work of many people in many different Ubisoft studios all over the world,” says Martin Schelling, senior producer. “To have this franchise join the ranks of those that have reached more than 100m sold is a testament to the teams that have taken on that challenge over the years.”
“This is a huge milestone for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but we believe the best is yet to come,” Etienne Allonier, brand director for Assassin’s Creed adds. “Having seen what’s gone into this year’s movie and into future Assassin’s Creed games, we think fans and newcomers alike will be excited by everything Assassin’s Creed has to offer.”
It appears Ezio is going to join in on the celebration this holiday season when he arrives on Xbox One and PS4. The Ezio trilogy is set during the 15th century Italian Renaissance and Assassin’s Creed II is widely regarded as the best entry in the franchise by fans. If you happen to be one of those fans then you won’t have to wait very long to relive this great trilogy as it will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 beginning on November 15.
The Ezio collection will feature all single player content from Ezio’s three games as well as all single player DLC. Multiplayer will not be a part of the package this time though which means there will probably either be new achievements/trophies or the existing ones will simply be worth more than they originally were.
Whatever the case you don’t have to wait very long to experience Ezio’s adventure from a young man searching for meaning to an older gentleman that is leading the Assassin’s. Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection will be available for $59.99, which essentially means each game is $20 although no word has been given yet on whether or not you can buy the games individually.
