E3 2016: Detroit: Become Human E3 Trailer and Details Revealed by Quantic Dream

News: Some new info has been released for Quantic Dream’s new title along with showing off an important decision you’ll need to make in the game.

Detroit: Become Human was shown off at E3 with a new trailer that showed off a variety of ways things can happen in the game. Detroit is a neo-noir thriller that is set in the near future. Androids have become commonplace and they have replaced humans in a lot of different ways. The story of Detroit starts with an unexplained incident that begins to affect the Androids. Some disappear while others act strangely.

This E3 trailer also introduced us to Connor. He is an advanced prototype assigned to the police force to help them investigate cases involving deviants. In the trailer that was shown your decisions will have immediate consequences. There is a little girl being held hostage and your decisions will depend on who dies, if anyone. They showed off a few of the different scenarios that can happen to give you an idea of how big the game can be.

As you go through the game and you play as all of the characters you will see the story from different perspectives. You will need to weigh each decision as your actions will have consequences as the example above illustrates.

Detroit also features a brand new engine that Quantic Dream has developed. They say it has many advanced features such as new renders, a new dynamic lighting engine,physically-based shaders, physical cameras and more.
