News: Brain Studio’s new game is getting close to release and is a colorful platformer without the platforms.

”Turn

Turn On is coming out soon for Xbox One and PC. If you haven’t heard of this game, Turn On tells the tale of a brave alien creature and its journey through blackout world. Turn On is a colorful and detailed platformer and has been designed for all ages. It was inspired by the world event Earth Hour, which is held by WWF. It features a charming art style and visual storytelling, cute character personality and a soothing soundtrack.

The plot of Turn On revolves around a small spark named Turnon, an alien space object, which flew through the atmosphere and hit the city’s power station. There it came alive from the electric shock and became a rational being. As a result of the accident the city remains without electricity and now Turnon has to return the light back into the homes of citizens. Professor Brain, a scientist from the power station, found Turnon at the time of the accident and decided to help him. Using a minibus equipped with an electric generator, they move around the city from one district to another and restore the power supply.

“Like a lightning the idea of creating TurnOn came in my head! As in reality, I saw a pretty sparkle, which runs through the wires and lights up all what is possible,” says Ilia Antonov, Game Designer.

Turn On is a platformer without platforms. The main character moves through electrical wires. The mix of exploration and music levels makes the gameplay very immersive. You will have to solve puzzles and figure out how to turn on the lights in every home, as well as fight unexpected enemies. In Turn On there is no dialogue. Everything is purely visual and the entire story is told through what you see (and sometimes what you don’t).

Turn On is in development from Brain Studio. It is set to be released this Spring which means it should be released in the very near future and will be available on Xbox One and Steam. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us what you think. Are you interested in playing Turn On?
