The Dead Island Definitive Collection is coming out soon and to help mark the occasion Deep Silver has released a tribute to the original Dead Island reveal trailer which made its debut five years ago at E3 2011. With a classical ensemble of piano, two violins, a viola and cello, the video showcases a re-recorded version of the soundtrack and filmed the musicians with no lighting but only the trailer projected on their instruments while playing.
For those who never saw the original trailer back in 2011 we have also included that below as well. Dead Island Definitive Collection is a compilation containing Dead Island Definitive Edition, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition and also includes for free Dead Island Retro Revenge. It will be available at retail and digital for $39.99.
Available at the same time, Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition will each be available separately and as a digital download on Xbox One, PS4 and PC for $19.99. It does need to be noted that you will only get the Dead Island Retro Revenge game for free if you purchase the Dead Island Definitive Collection.
All three titles are scheduled to be released on May 31, 2016. Will you be picking them up? Take a look at the two videos below and tell us what you think.
