Call of Duty: Black Ops is now available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. If you own the digital version then it should be available for you to download and install right by going to your “ready to install” list which located to the right of all of your games. If you own Call of Duty: Black Ops on disc then you can put that disc into the Xbox One and it will ping the servers to allow you to download the game. Please keep in mind that if you are using the physical disc method that you will need the disc in the console whenever you want to play the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops took place during the 1960s in the Cold War, around 20 years after the events of World at War. The game focuses on CIA clandestine black operations that are carried out behind enemy lines. The campaign will take you to various locations around the globe and revolves around an experimental chemical weapon codenamed “Nova-6”.

Take a look at the trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops below and tell us what you think. Are you excited to be able to finally play this on your Xbox One? What are some other games you would like to see added to the backwards compatibility list?
