Homefront: The Revolution Now Available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

News: Homefront: The Revolution has finally been released after a fairly long development cycle and aims to reboot the franchise.

Homefront: The Revolution is now available in stores and on digital platforms. Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where have to lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. Through your actions you can ignite a revolution and a rebellion on the streets as oppressed civilians take up the fight. The single player is just the beginning too as you can play in the online co-op Resistance Mode where you and your friends can form your own Resistance cell and become renowned as heroes of the Revolution.

"With Homefront: The Revolution, we deliver a reboot of the Homefront IP, a brand new open world shooter game with asymmetric, guerilla warfare. Not only that, we also deliver with it a deep story about defending our values, defending our country, defending our society, and that is as current as it can be," said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media.

In addition to that Deep Silver has released some details about the Expansion Pass for Homefront: The Revolution. The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath will both add new districts and several hours of original single-player content that will complement the 30 hour campaign. There will also be a much larger expansion called “Beyond The Walls” that will come out in 2017 with more details to follow.
