We have known for a while that Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain would be getting the remaster treatment and would be released on the PS4. Sony has almost stealth released Beyond: Two Souls revealing earlier today that Beyond: Two Souls will be out in just five days. It will be the digital version only and be available for $29.99. Heavy Rain is supposed to also arrive on the PS4 but that won’t be happening until March 1. There are also rumors floating around that these two games will have a retail release as a collection but that is just a rumor at this time.
The PlayStation 4 version of Beyond: Two Souls has a number of improvements over the original PS3 version. These improvements include:
Enhanced 1080p graphics including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows. The game also makes use of the Dualshock 4 speaker to improve immersion when playing as the Aiden.
Decisions are highlighted at the end of each scene and compared with those made by other players.
You can now play the game in chronological order right from the start. You can also play it with the original format. If you are someone who wants to play the game in chronological order that feature will be available immediately when you start the game.
There will be increased difficulty in a certain fight scene, combined with improved controls for action sequences.
Includes the “Enhanced Experiments” DLC
