The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Now Available on Current and Last Gen Consoles

News: Nordic Games has released the sequel to The Book of Unwritten Tales on which spoofs popular franchises.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is now available on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. This is a sequel to the original The Book of Unwritten Tales and spoofs popular RPGs, fantasy novels and movies. The game spoofs fantasy luminaries such as World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Discworld, The Hobbit and more, all accompanied by a soundtrack with both new compositions and recognizable classics.

For those who aren’t familiar with this game or the series, the premise is below:

The story takes place one year after the events of The Book of Unwritten Tales. Our four playable characters, Wilbur the gnome mage, elven princess Ivo, adventurer Nate and his companion, the critter, all have their own problems to deal with. But then a new threat appears and the four work together to save the world of Aventasia once more.

Players will play each of our heroes individually but there are also times where two or even three characters are being played simultaneously, in order to solve some of the riddles & quests. The game features the city of Seastone and many new locations, like flying pirate cities, sunken desert-temples, the elven palace, the Seastone underground and many more.
