Rise of the Tomb Raider Releasing on PC and PS4 in 2016

News: Square Enix has revealed the timeframe that PC and PS4 gamers can expect to get their hands on Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to Xbox One first in a few months. Up until now that is all we knew but earlier today Square Enix revealed when Lara’s newest adventure will be hitting other platforms. Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on Xbox One beginning November 10, will hit Steam in “early 2016” and will arrive on the PS4 one year later in “Holiday 2016.” Once again Crystal Dynamics is developing the game.

In the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider, Lara Croft survived a harrowing experience only to be discredited as part of a cover up. Now, after uncovering an ancient mystery, Lara must explore the most treacherous and remote regions of Siberia to find the secret of immortality before a ruthless organization known as Trinity. Lara must use her wits and survival skills, form new alliances, and ultimately embrace her destiny as the Tomb Raider.

Lara’s newest adventure will have high-octane action moments where you will have to conquer beautifully hostile environments, engage in brutal guerrilla combat, and explore awe-inspiring deadly tombs in the evolution of survival action. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara becomes more than a survivor as she embarks on her first great Tomb Raiding expedition.
