Playstation Plus July Games Revealed for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

News: Sony has revealed which games PlayStation Plus members will receive for the month of July with six new titles.

July is now upon us and Sony has revealed what games PlayStation Plus members will be receiving this month. This month there are six games available with four of them being playable on PS4, three of them being playable on the PS3 and three of them being playable on the PS Vita. The free games for the month of July include:

PlayStation 4

Rocket League - Rocket League is a futuristic action-sports game where players pilot rocket-powered vehicles in an enhanced version of soccer by driving their vehicles into the ball and other players in a variety of arenas.Rocket League uses an advanced physics system to simulate realistic interactions between cars and the ball, where mass and momentum determine how hard balls and cars hit each other, creating a unique and visceral playing experience.

Styx: Master of Shadows - Styx is a Goblin two centuries old... the very first of all the Goblins, he’s a master in the arts of stealth, theft, and murder. The depths of the miles-high Tower of Akenash, where Humans and Elves hide and protect the Tree, the source of the Amber, are the best chance Styx has of quickly amassing a small fortune and, perhaps, discover more about his true origins along the way. Battle your way to the top of the lofty Tower of Akenash through immense and vertiginous levels that highlight the vertical perspective. You will complete numerous missions with various objectives as you climb up – murder, information recovery, theft of precious artifacts, etc – and gradually reconstruct the puzzle that provides the key to the mystery of your origins. The levels are open and the objectives can be completed in various ways: you are therefore free to choose the best way to proceed and the most suitable strategy to employ to achieve and complete your mission objectives. But remember you’re a Goblin: if your target is twice your size, or more, you're better off eliminating them silently… and in the back!

Mousecraft - The game, created by Polish developer Crunching Koalas, sees players aiding mice in their relentless quest for cheese by stacking and manipulating to world’s most famous puzzle pieces; Tetrominos to create safe paths and defeat enemies. MouseCraft combines the mechanics from classic puzzle games with a story mode, vibrant and original characters and a fully-featured level editor.

Entwined - Entwined is an action reflex game where you must learn to control two characters simultaneously and help them on their journey to become one with each other. The Bird and the Fish you control represent two souls who are in love but can’t be together. As you guide them through 9 different lifetimes you will help them overcome obstacles of fate and ultimately set them free by transforming them into a soaring Dragon.

PlayStation 3

Mousecraft - The game, created by Polish developer Crunching Koalas, sees players aiding mice in their relentless quest for cheese by stacking and manipulating to world’s most famous puzzle pieces; Tetrominos to create safe paths and defeat enemies. MouseCraft combines the mechanics from classic puzzle games with a story mode, vibrant and original characters and a fully-featured level editor.

Entwined - Entwined is an action reflex game where you must learn to control two characters simultaneously and help them on their journey to become one with each other. The Bird and the Fish you control represent two souls who are in love but can’t be together. As you guide them through 9 different lifetimes you will help them overcome obstacles of fate and ultimately set them free by transforming them into a soaring Dragon.

Rain - Rain is the enchanting tale of a boy who chases after a girl with an invisible silhouette. After discovering that the girl is being hunted by ghostly creatures, he embarks on his own journey into the mysterious world of rain to save her. Upon entering the world he discovers that he has also become invisible and he must learn to navigate through the unknown, using the rain to guide and protect him. Throughout rain, players control the invisible boy, leveraging the unique ability to appear in the rain and disappear under cover to advance through the storyline. However, just like in the real world, players must understand that at times what they are able to see isn’t everything and they must use their imagination to interact with the environment and solve puzzles, and to help them along their journey to safety.

PlayStation Vita

Geometry Wars 3 - Geometry Wars3 is a fast-paced, multi-directional arcade game that captures the classic energetic flourish of the series, while evolving the experience with new features like 3D action, new gameplay modes, persistent customization choices, a dedicated single-player campaign, a revamped cooperative mode and online competitive multiplayer.
