News: Ubisoft has revealed that they need a couple more weeks to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is ready for everyone.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is set to be released later this year, however, Ubisoft has just announced that it will be delayed by two weeks. Originally scheduled to be released on October 28, Assassin’s Creed Unity will now be released on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe and Australasia. This means that Assassin’s Creed Unity will be coming out on the same day as Assassin’s Creed Rogue. Of course Assassin’s Creed Unity is exclusive to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC while Assassin’s Creed Rogue is coming out on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
“As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” says Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer at Ubisoft. “We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
In Assassin’s Creed Unity you will play as Arno, an entirely new breed of Assassin, and take down your prey with a range of new weapons such as the Phantom Blade, a hidden blade with crossbow capabilities. Asssassin’s Creed Unity takes place in Paris in 1789 during the French Revolution. As the nation tears itself apart, Arno will embark on an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin.
In addition to the single player campaign, you will be able to join up to three friends online and experience the open world of 18th century Paris. Pull ambitious heists and take part in unique narrative-driven missions designed exclusively for co-op play. You can sabotage an execution, protect an emperor or assassinat a Templar agent. You’ll have to work with friends if you want to be successful in your mission.
