News: Gamestop has teamed up with USAopoly to bring a special “Gamestop Exclusive Edition” of The Legend of Zelda Monopoly to Zelda fans next month.

Gamestop has recently revealed that The Legend of Zelda Monopoly will be coming out next month on September 15. The description off of Gamestop’s website reads as follows:

“The Legend of Zelda Monopoly takes players on a trip through time as they travel through the land of Hyrule and beyond. Memorable locations include Link's House, Temple of Time and the Lon Lon Ranch and are all up for grabs in this special collector's edition of one of the most revered video games of all time. In addition to collectible tokens, custom designed game board, Zelda themed money and custom Chance, Community Chest and deed cards, the GameStop Exclusive edition includes the Ocarina of Time token, Hyrule Map Lithograph and 6 Item Cards for added game play.”

Even though it appears this will be sold at other retailers, Gamestop seems to have an exclusive edition that comes with custom square box packaging (see below), an Ocarina of Time Token (see below) and 6 item Power Cards for added game play.

In this latest version of Monopoly, houses are renamed Deku Sprouts and hotels are renamed as Deku Trees. The Chance and Community Cards are renamed Empty Bottle and Treasure Chest. There are custom deed cards that have been made and Zelda themed money. There are also custom rules including Item Card instructions and a 11” x 17” Hyrule Map Lithograph in Treasure Chest Holder that is also a Gamestop exclusive.

The Legend of Zelda Monopoly is available for $39.99. Will you be picking it up? Let us know what you think below.
