News: Sony has revealed a special Last of Us PS4 bundle that will release exclusively in Canada tomorrow when the game is released.
The Last of Us: Remastered is coming out tomorrow and Sony has just revealed that they are releasing a special Last of Us bundle in Canada. This is a Canadian exclusive and will be available for $449. A few months back Sony raised the price of the PS4 in Canada from $399 to $449 where it currently stands. So essentially what this bundle does is give new PS4 owners one of Sony’s biggest games for free. Why buy a standard bundle for $449 when you can buy this new bundle for The Last of Us at the same price and get a free game? The only confusing part here is why Sony waited until 24 hours before the game’s release to unveil this. This is something that should have been unveiled at E3 or, at the absolute latest, last week at Comic Con in San Diego.
It should be noted that when you are buying this Last of Us bundle that you are getting the digital version. There should be a code in the box that will allow you to download The Last of Us for free off of PSN. Depending on your internet speed though you might be waiting a while as The Last Of Us Remastered reportedly weighs in at around 50gb.
I’m sure the first question that pops into your mind after reading that is wondering why the game is so big. Well, The Last of Us Remastered was rebuilt to run in 1080p. It also features higher resolution character models, improved shadowing and lighting and upgraded textures. The game also comes with all previously released DLC, such as the Left Behind single-player expansion, the Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack and the Reclaimed Territories map pack as well as the “Grounded” difficulty mode.
