News: 343 and Microsoft have released a new trailer to whet your appetite for Halo: The Master Chief Collection which comes out later this year.
The Master Chief Collection was revealed last month at E3 for Xbox One and earlier today they released a new “Terminal” trailer. The Halo: Master Chief Collection will included remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 & Halo 4. It comes with all of the extras, gameplay modes and every multiplayer map ever released in those four games which which means there will be close to 100 multiplayer maps when you add all four games together. This new compilation will feature new achievements and everything should be unlocked from the start. Additionally, the Master Chief Collection will come with 4,000 gamerscore (1,000 for each Halo game).
Halo 2 will receive the same sort of treatment that Halo: Combat Evolved received a few years back when it was remastered and released on the Xbox 360. The original graphical engine will be available as well as the brand new, high definition engine. You will be able to switch between the two at a moments notice with the press of a button.
In addition to all of the Halo content that will be available from all four games, there will be new content as well. Halo Nightfall will also be on the disc as will the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta. The Halo 5 multiplayer beta is reportedly set to begin on December 27, 2014 and will run through January 22, 2015. For those who aren’t familiar with Halo Nightfall, it is a digital feature that Microsoft revealed during the initial reveal for Xbox One.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently slated to be available on November 11, exclusively on Xbox One.
