News: Activision and Sledgehammer have released the reveal trailer and release date for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to be released on November 4, 2014. This release date is revealed at the end of the reveal trailer that was initially set to come out on Sunday, May 4. It somehow got leaked on to the internet though so Activision decided to officially release it early. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare envisions battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise.

Earlier in the day there was a trailer released talking about PMCs and how they are used throughout the world. There wasn’t any gameplay but it helped set the tone of what we could expect from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Now we know a bit of the story and it appears that Kevin Spacey plays the part of the main villain. Judging by what is seen in the trailer we need to stop Mr. Spacey’s character before he destabilizes some regions which would lead to him gaining power. Rumor has it that Spacey’s character is the head of a PMC organization that has turned on the U.S. government.

Unfortunately that is all we really know right now other than it appears to have some futuristic technology. The trailer is footage captured off of the Xbox One version. Take a look and tell us what you think. What do you think of Kevin Spacey’s involvement? Do you like the direction Sledgehammer is heading for their first Call of Duty game?
