PS Plus North American members receive a free PS3 game this week along with discounts

PlayStation Plus News: Sony has revealed that North American members will receive a free PS3 game this week along with discounts on some upcoming games.

PlayStation Plus members in North America will be receiving a free PS3 game this week according to the latest post on the PlayStation Blog. Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection is the free title of the week. Use the PlayStation Move motion controller or a Dualshock 3 to take down hordes of zombies across two full titles, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. Relive the events from the original series with classic characters in HD.

In addition to the Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection being free this week, PS Plus members will also receive the following discounts:

- Puppeteer - PS3 - $39.99 (PS Plus - $35.99) - Puppeteer is a brand new franchise developed exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system by SCE JAPAN Studio. Set in a magical puppeteer’s theatre, this title will introduce you to a strange and fantastic world, where the environment is constantly changing.
