Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC is now available on PS3, PC

CoD Black Ops 2 PS3 News: The PS3 and PC versions of the CoD Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC had their release dates today, with an Alcatraz map for the new zombie story mode.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC is now available on the PS3 and PC after come out on Xbox 360 last month. Now that the release date for the PS3 and PC versions of the DLC is here, all gamers can now experience the latest Call of Duty Black Ops 2 map pack, in addition to the new zombie story, Mob of the Dead. Uprising includes the following four maps:

Magma - Set within a modern Japanese village, volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.

Encore - Taking place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival, Encore leaves numerous opportunities for run and gun, close quarters combat.

Vertigo - A futuristic high rise mega structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.

Studio - A contemporay re-imagining of "Firing Range," the fan-favorite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. "Studio" is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.

In addition to those four multiplayer map packs is the new Mob of the Dead zombie content. Following the tradition of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops fan-favorite Zombies mode "Call of the Dead," Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising's new "Mob of the Dead" Zombies experience puts players in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome (Ray Liotta), Al "The Weasel" Arlington (Joe Pantoliano), Salvatore "Sal" DeLuca (Chazz Palminteri), and Michael "Finn" O'Leary (Michael Madsen).

All four are serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bars is the least of their problems. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them.

PS3 and PC gamers can purchase this new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising as a standalone map pack for the price of $14.99 or download it for free if you have the Black Ops 2 season pass.
