Dark trailer demos vampire skills and kills for Xbox 360, PC

Dark Video Game News: There’s a new YouTube video for Dark, the stealth action game with RPG element and a summer release date on Xbox 360 and PC.

Dark for Xbox 360 and PC is beginning to emerge from the shadows now that its summer release date is coming up. With that in mind, Kalypso Media uploaded a new Dark trailer to YouTube that takes gamers deeper into the world the company is creating.

This new video focuses on several of the special attacks and powers available to players in this upcoming vampire-themed stealth action game.

For those unaware, Dark is a stealth action game with RPG elements that lets you slip into the role of the ultimate killer... a vampire. Stalk your enemies from the shadows then use powerful vampire attacks to attack and dispose of them.

The story of Dark immerses you in a world full of blood and darkness in which the hunter can become the hunted at any time. As you unravel the mystery behind the omnipresent and powerful global conglomerate, Geoforge, you must continually improve your character by developing powerful skills to aid you in remaining unobserved, or silence those unfortunate enough to take too keen an interest in you.

Dark will immerse players in a near-future urban landscape as you take on the role of Eric Bane, a newly turned vampire who is on a quest to uncover the secrets of the most ancient vampires. Dark features stylish 3D graphic novel style visuals and an upgradable set of powerful vampire skills that you can use to manipulate, distract or brutally attack your foes.

Take a look at the new Dark trailer below and tell us what you think. The release date hasn’t been specified beyond “sometime this summer” for this Xbox 360 and PC game, but the trailer does give you a good indication of what to expect. Will you be picking up this game when it does launch?
