Need for Speed: Most Wanted is getting considerable review buzz, and that’s not surprising it was made by former Burnout developer, Criterion Games.
However, if you’re still unsure about this arcade-style racing game, there’s a NFS: Most Wanted demo on Xbox 360 and PS3, giving racing genre-loving gamers a taste of the 2012 reboot.
This 2012 version of NFS: Most Wanted released on October 30 in North America, and it’s EA’s hope that this reimagining of the bestselling title in Need for Speed history can repeat that success.
To that point, EA broadened the platform-base, releasing the game released not just Xbox 360 and PS3, but the PC, PS Vita, iOS, Android and even the Kindle Fire.
The NFS: Most Wanted demo is single-player, and, unfortunately, there’s no splitscreen in the full game either - up to eight players can play together, but only online.
Nevertheless, this open-world racing game, set on the fictional streets of Fairhaven, includes fun police chases and ideal handling for an arcade racing game - probably the best since Split-Second.
Before downloading the 1.49 GB demo via Xbox Live and PSN, check out the launch trailer in case you need to get caught up on what Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2012 is all about.
