Borderlands 2 News: The new Borderlands 2 trailer rings in the start of Comic-Con 2012 while playing ?The Lion Sleeps Tonight? song in the background.

The new Borderlands 2 trailer on YouTube takes you to the diverse environments throughout Pandora with exotic creatures in their natural habitat, so naturally the developer plays the Tokens classic ?The Lion Sleeps Tonight? song in the background. Also known as ?Wimoweh,? this song that makes you think of 1) The Jungle and 2) The Lion King, is played while demoing new guns, vehicles and other deadly contraptions.

This funny, two-minute trailer is tagged with the description: ?For your own safety, be sure to pack a few bazillion extra guns.? Humorous and full of guns? That sounds like the Borderlands 2 we can't wait to get our hands on.

This Borderlands 2 trailer ends like all of the others, with the September 18, 2012 release date in full view. We'll have to wait until then to return to Pandora. Maybe by then, this Borderlands trailer's ?Lion Sleeps Tonight? song will be out of our heads.
