There are two Dishonored trailer that Bethesda Softworks uploaded to YouTube, the first video demos stealth gameplay of this Neo-Victorian-set first-person shooter, while the second video takes you through a more direct, action-oriented gameplay. Both Dishonored trailer part 1 and part 2 take place in the Golden Cat mission.
Dishonored co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith demo how to neutralize targets without actually killing them and powers like dark vision in part 1. Although there's a lot less confrontation in this version of the video, spying on guards and carefully using their cones to weave around the level seems a lot more tense. Powers like Dark Vision are demoed, showing you how to this is accomplished more easily.
Dishonored trailer part 2, meanwhile, goes takes on a more brutal approach, proving that this game is going to offer a healthy Mature rating. Be warned: eliminating enemies with violence, traps and supernatural powers takes up energy, so using your resources wisely is essential when going down this route. No one ever said associations would be easy.
The Dishonored release date is October 9, which means we'll probably be Xbox 360, PS3 and PC single-player game through an appropriate Halloween 2012. We'll have more Dishonored updates between now and then.
