Far Cry 3 release date delayed

Far Cry 3 Release Date News: Far Cry 3 is coming out on Dec 4 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Maybe by that time its release date rolls around, I can stop calling it Fary Cry 3.

Far Cry 3 has been delayed - the new Far Cry 3 release date in the US is now December 4 and slightly earlier throughout Europe, November 29. The previous Far Cry 3 release date was supposed to be September 4, 2012 stateside. Now we'll have to wait a full three months before we get our hands on the final version of this Xbox 360, PS3 and PC first-person shooter.

?We're taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,? said Dan Hay, producer at Ubisoft. ?Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.?

The good news is that Far Cry 3 is looking like a top-notch FPS from what we saw at E3 2012, where the game was touting its old release date. RIP. The good news is that there's still going to be a Far Cry 3 multiplayer beta this summer (the timetable for that hasn't been delayed as well), so that should hold you over while you wait it out.
