Dance Central 2 News: As the Dance Central 2 song list expands, so too are the ways to download this top-rated Xbox 360 Kinect game.
A little more than six months after Dance Central 2 released onto Xbox 360 in disc form, the popular Kinect game busts a move onto Xbox 360 on Demand. Now, there' a good chance that if you're able to play this game featuring full-body motion tracking, you can strut down to the local video game store and pick up a copy in person. But, just in case you're a coordinated gamer who is afraid to leave your living dance floor, it's available via the Internet for $49.99.
When I first got a chance to play Dance Central 2 at E3 2011 (during Joystiq's post-E3 party), I thoroughly enjoyed the real-time feedback for two simultaneous players. This game is built for parties, much like Guitar Hero and Rock Band in years past and DDR light years before that. The only thing better than the game's countless number of dance move combinations is the fact that it comes with over 40 songs.
Usher, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Daft Punk round out the variety-filled, dance-worthy playlist of Dance Central 2. Then, there's also Justin Bieber. Like Rock Band, additional songs are available to download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can also import your original Dance Central, which is a really convenient feature carried over from Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3.
Dance Central 2 is one of the better Kinect games, so your only decision should be whether or not to hunt for a cheaper used copy of the popular game or spring for this $50 УXbox 360 on DemandФ version.
