Dead Island Skulls Guide: Can't find the brown, green, blue, orange or purple skulls in Dead Island? Learn the locations and drop-off points in these YouTube walkthrough video.

Dead Island skulls guide

Dead Island's skull locations and drop-off points are difficult to find - maybe not as difficult as dealing with the game's annoying save bugs and many glitches on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. But, still, it's a tough task on this chaotic, zombie-filled tropical island. Luckily, YouTube videos walk you through the entire process from beginning to end.

Two Dead Island players in particular, Gamble840 and otwboys, do all of the leg work for you in five gameplay videos that run anywhere from a little over one minute to almost twenty minutes. You can certainly skip through the longer YouTube clips to cut to the chase. Whether you're having trouble finding the brown skull, green skull, blue skull, orange skull or purple skull, seeing footage of YouTube users successfully finding them and narrating the entire process is the way to go over text-based walkthroughs.

Also, another tip if you're having trouble locking down the game saves when you acquire a skull, follow our Dead Island fix for making sure the auto save bug doesn't come back from the dead to bite you. While the Xbox 360 Dead Island patch went live earlier this week, the glitches are still effecting Dead Island PS3 version. Try logging out of PSN (which means you won't be able to log your Trophies live) and staying away from multiplayer.

Techland, the Poland-based developer of Dead Island, has indicated that another patch is on its way for PS3 and PC. Hopefully it isn't as ruinous as the last one. In the meantime, check out the skulls guides in YouTube video form below.
