Assassin's Creed News: The AC: Revelations beta is available on PS3 for six extra days, whether or not you're a PS Plus member.
The Assassin's Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta on PS3 was supposed to end last night, Sunday, September 11. However, at the 11th hour, publisher Ubisoft extended the testing period to September 17. That's good news for non-paying PlayStation Network users who were shut out of the first five days of the initial closed beta. The AC: Revelations beta was originally limited to paying PlayStation Plus subscribers and Ubisoft's own Uplay members. The beta opened up to the general PSN public over the weekend, which wasn't enough time for regular users to get a crack at the multiplayer experience. Six extra days should do the trick.
Open to one and all are three maps, Knight's Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople, and nine characters: The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion. Modes in the multiplayer beta include Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault. Ubisoft promises that this is only "a sample of the final multiplayer content."
We'll see the rest on November 15, 2011, when Assassin's Creed: Revelations releases on PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC.
