Operation Flashpoint: Red River has found its target release date in the promised second quarter: April 26 in North America and April 23 throughout Europe. The PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 game takes place in the Central Asian country Tajikistan where you play from the perspective of one of the four members of a US Marine Corps fireteam.
Codemasters actually released a trailer of what it'll be like to play as one of those four roles. Below, the new gameplay video demos what it's like to play as an Auto Rifleman Corporal Ryan Balletto in Fireteam Bravo. He's equipped with a M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), perfect for suppressing enemy positions so that he and the other specialist members - a Scout, Rifleman and Grenadier ? can advance through the arid deserts of Tajikistan.
