News: Not just awesome, but EPIC!
Epic Games and Electronic Arts have announced that the Xbox 360 version of Bulletstorm will include several extras when its released on February 25. Dubbed the "Epic Edition" (get it?), the package will include early access to the Gears of War 3 beta.
?Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm,? said Dr. Michael Capps, president of Epic Games. ?With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that's what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans.?
The Epic Edition will also include bonus Bulletstorm content that will be very useful in the game's online modes. The extras include "25,000 experience points, visual upgrades for their iconic leash, deadly Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor."
The Epic Edition will be priced at $59.99, meaning that this special edition has a very standard price.
