Electronic Arts has announced that Linkin Park will headline the Medal of Honor soundtrack this Fall with a brand new song titled "The Catalyst." The track will also be the lead single from A Thousand Suns, the next album from the former nu-metal kings.
Gamers will be able to hear the song a months before the album's September 14 release date. That's because on August 1, it will be included in a special Medal of Honor trailer, directed by the band's Joe Hahn. The trailer will feature "a unique first-of-its-kind mix of live footage and intense modern military action from the game."
