News: We'll get to play Link's next adventure sooner rather than later.

The UK's Official Nintendo Magazine recently interviewed The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword producer Eiji Aonuma, who hinted that Link's next adventure may be released sooner rather than later.

"The basis we have now is very, very solid," Aonuma told ONM in an interview that will appear in the magazine's August issue. "Early 2011 - that is what we're aiming for."

A 2010 release date for Skyward Sword was teased after its E3 2009 appearance, but Nintendo used this year's expo to confirm that would instead be released sometime in 2011. With these latest comments from Aonuma, it looks like the game won't miss the original projection by that much.

We'll have more soon.
