News: Reach out and touch the King.

Back in 2006, Microsoft and Burger King teamed up to bring Xbox 360 owners three games starring the restaurant's mascots. The games (Big Bumpin', Pocketbike Racer and Sneak King) were offered for $3.99 each with the purchase of a value meal and proved to be a huge hit (although ask your local GameStop how many used copies of Sneak King they have in the back, I'll bet it's a lot). So naturally, with Microsoft launching their controllerless Kinect add-on this November, the King strikes again.

Starting this November, gamers will once again be able to flock to their local Burger King and receive a hot video game injection with their hot beef injection. No details about the game (or games, the press release is unclear how many titles will be offered) were revealed and the King's recent commercial adventures give us nothing to go on. Aside from an Iron Man-themed commercial in May, the King hasn't been seen on TV since last year. Both Pocketbike Racer and Sneak King were both based on then current Burger King commercials.

However, Burger King executives seemed very excited to get back into the game business.

"Our first endeavor with Xbox 360 took the gaming world by storm, so we couldn't pass up the chance to come together on another cutting-edge program," said Mike Kappitt, chief marketing officer, North America, Burger King Corp. "During this year's promotion, our guests can look forward to an even greater adventure that will stimulate the imaginations of gamers and entertainment-lovers of all shapes and sizes. While full details of the promotion are still top secret, we're proud to be the first and only brand in our industry to stand behind this pioneering experience that will forever change the way the world looks at entertainment."

The Xbox 360's Kinect add-on will launch on November 4. So we'll likely have more about Burger King's latest Xbox 360 effort then.
