News: And it's coming this year.



The latest "worst secret in gaming", LittleBigPlanet 2, was officially announced by Sony this morning on the PlayStation.Blog.

LittleBigPlanet 2 will be developed by Media Molecule, the same team who created the first game, and it will be released for the PlayStation 3 by the end of the year. Sony is promising that the sequel will include a ton of new features, including "revamped graphics, a fresh storyline, added accessories and equipment for Sackboy, and much, much more."

Sackboy's next adventure will also include a whole new suite of "Play. Create. Share." level-making tools. Acccording to Sony, players will not only be able to create new levels with LittleBigPlanet 2, but new games, "think top-down racing games, multiplayer shooters, flying side-scrollers, RPGs, etc. The possibilities are really endless."
