News: CliffyB has been snaked by the guy who posts the ads on Xbox Live.
Whoops! It appears that whoever approves the advertisements for the Xbox Live Dashboard didn't hear that Cliff Bleszinski's appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon was pushed back to Monday as the ad above appeared on the Dashboard last night.
After all the rumors, there's your confirmation, Gears of War 3 is in the works at Epic Games and it'll be released on the Xbox 360 in April 2011. It also looks like Epic is going the trilogy route as the next entry in the series promises the conclusion of the epic story. But you'll have to take our word for it, as the ad has been pulled from the Dashboard.
More details about Gears of War 3 will be likely be revealed on Fallon's show on Monday, where CliffyB will make his (now much less epic) network television debut.
