Interview: The evolution of Kratos, from Spartan hero to naked warrior.

As of this very second, God of War III is a little less than two weeks away. Since God of War II was one of the last major titles released for the PlayStation 2, fans have had to endure quite the wait to see Kratos make the jump to high definition. But he's finally coming and he's bringing all of his trademark violent rage and cinematic setpieces with him.

We recently had a chance to talk with William Weissbaum, Project Coordinator for the game at Sony Santa Monica Studio. Our discussion touched on a lot of topics including the game's story, the opening Gaia/Leviathan battle, the evolution of Kratos, the badassery of naked warriors, the game's soundtrack, the possibility of downloadable content and what the team at Santa Monica Studio thinks of Darksiders and Dante's Inferno.
