News: Limited-time deal for NFL early birds.
Are you a fan of birds (Eagles, Falcons, Ravens, Seahawks... Jets, that's sort of a "bird") and are you an early bird? Well, Walmart has a limited-time offer for NFL fans who pre-order Madden NFL 11 right now, despite the fact that the game doesn't release until August 20, 2010.
So, even though the off-season begins Monday and your mind will be on MLB 10: The Show or MLB 2K10 by that point, there's a $20 or $10 e-Gift card at stake. This "while supplies last" bonus can be sought at
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=1063204 where the Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii versions net you a $20 gift card, while the cheaper PS2 and PSP editions earn you a $10 card.
No, none of the five versions of the upcoming game reveal who'll be the cover athlete. But, the silhouette of a player on a mock box is adjacent to some tempting gift card artwork.
