Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain is still a few months away, but Sony is already planning to support the game with additional downloadable episodes dubbed "The Heavy Rain Chronicles."
Each episode will be priced at $4.99 and Sony plans to give gamers who pre-order Heavy Rain the first episode for free. Heavy Rain: Chronicle One ? The Taxidermist will feature investigative journalist Madison Paige in one of her first cases tracking down a serial killer. The episode will actually be an expansion and update to the original "Taxidermist" demo that was on display last year at the Leipzig Games Convention.

More episodes in The Heavy Rain Chronicles will be made available after the game's release and each one will tell a self-contained "short story" in the game's universe starring one of the main characters.
Sony has promised they'll announce the release date for the first two episodes of The Heavy Rain Chronicles very soon.
