After their reveal in the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Capcom has confirmed that Guy, Cody and Adon will be among the fighters added to Super Street Fighter IV when it is released next Spring on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Adon made his first appearance in the series in the original Street Fighter and subsequently played a large role in the Street Fighter Alpha sub-series.

Guy and Cody were originally not a part of the Street Fighter franchise, instead making their video game debut in Capcom's Final Fight beat 'em up series. But as the two franchises slowly began to share the same universe, Capcom worked the two brawlers into Street Fighter Alpha (with Street Fighter Alpha 3 being Cody's first playable appearance).

In addition to the announcement, Capcom has released a new trailer for Super Street Fighter IV showcasing all three characters:
