News: Madden blitzes the XBLA on Wednesday.
Just in time for some Thanksgiving Day "FOOTBALL!" (TM John Madden), EA Sports will release Madden NFL Arcade as this Wednesday's Xbox Live Arcade offering.
As the title implies, Madden NFL Arcade will not be a realistic simulation of the gridiron game. Instead, it'll be a 5-on-5 fast-paced game of football with "no penalties and no clock" as each team has four downs to march 60 yards downfield for the score. Essentially, it's NFL Blitz crossed with a backyard pickup game.
Madden NFL Arcade will be available to download for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). More information can be found below.
