News: Or rather, Fighting Street, the TurboGrafx-16 port of the original Street Fighter.

The arcade version of Street Fighter received only one stand-alone console release during its original arcade run, a 1988 Turbografx-CD port known as Fighting Street. While the name may have been changed, the game is pure Street Fighter as Ken and Ryu fight one-on-one battles against the likes of series mainstays Sagat, Birdie and Gen.

Also being added to the Virtual Console this week is the Sega Master System version of R-Type, which features an exclusive bonus level not found in any other edition of the game.

In addition to the Virtual Console games, three new titles will be added to the WiiWare service this week. They include Carnival King, a party game with a carnival setting; "Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game, an adventure game; and Family Card Games, a collection of card games.

The DSiWare Shop will also receive three new games this week including Sparkle Snapshots, a photo manipulation app from Nintendo; Viking Invasion, a "tower defense" game; and Battle of Giants: Dragons ? Bronze Edition, a dragon-fighting game from Ubisoft.

More information on all eight titles can be found below.

The more you defend yourself, the more ferocious they'll become. Before you know it, they'll be invoking legions of fantastic creatures straight out of the mythical land of Asgard. Fortunately, the experience you gain will help you to build even more powerful defenses. Thwart all your assailants' ruses and unlock new kinds of buildings: tornado-blowing windmills to repel the ships, monoliths that strengthen your fortifications or canons that shoot studded shells. Discover more than 10 levels, tons of units, a Campaign mode, a Survival mode and three difficulty levels. There's even a little surprise at the end. Can you rise to the challenge and stop Olaf from taking your treasure home to his sweetheart Olga?
