News: Get your first chance to play the first God of War game on the PS3 this November.

If you attended any gaming event this Summer, it's likely that a playable version of God of War III was on display in the deep recesses of Sony's booth. Now, Sony has announced that the E3 2009 demo (which was also on hand at Comic-Con and PAX) of Kratos' first PlayStation 3 adventure will be coming to a PS3 near you. Gamers that purchase a copy of God of War Collection (a PS3 compilation of the first two God of War games) will receive a voucher code to download the demo off of the PlayStation Store.

Sony has also unveiled a new Japanese trailer for the game at this year's Tokyo Game Show. It features very little new footage of the game, but more Kratos is always a welcome sight (unless you're on the receiving end of his rage that is)...

The God of War Collection will be released this November while God of War III will be available in March 2010.
