News Roundup: We collect some of the biggest stories (and trailers) from the 2009 GamesCom convention in Cologne, Germany.




A ton major announcements have begun to trickle in from the GamesCom 2009 event in Cologne, Germany. In case you missed it, here's a rundown of the news and announcements...

PS3 Slim Announced
The rumors are true! Sony has announced a smaller, cheaper version of the PlayStation 3 and its coming this September.

Buy PSP Go at Launch, Get Gran Turismo Free (Europe Only)
Sony plans to offer early adopters of the PSP Go one great deal.

Downloadable 'PSP Minis' Coming October 1
Sony plans to get into the business of micro-sized downloadable games with the PSP Minis line this October.



Fable II to be Added to Games on Demand
Microsoft plans to add Fable II to the Xbox 360's Games on Demand service in September. Not only that, but it'll be split into five "episodes", with plans to offer the first episode for free.

Fable III Announced
It's good to be the king (or queen) as Microsoft and Peter Molyneux announce Fable III.

The Belmonts Will Appear in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Konami has confirmed that everyone's favorite vampire hunters will appear in next year's Castlevania game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. As a bonus, they've also released a new trailer for the game.

Dark Void Coming January 12
Capcom has set a release date for their high-flying jetpack adventure. They've also released a new trailer of the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game to celebrate.
