News: The Golden Boy shines a light on Fight Night.

Electronic Arts is planning to release a downloadable expansion pack for Fight Night Round 4 by the end of the month. The pack will be available to PlayStation 3 owners for $9.99 and to Xbox 360 users for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). It will include five additional boxers to add to the game's rosters, three new fighters and two alternate versions of existing pugilists:

  • Oscar De La Hoya
  • Vitali Klitschko
  • Wladimir Klitschko
  • George Foreman (alternate version)
  • James Toney (alternate version)

"We are extremely excited to be able to add Oscar and the Klitschko brothers as part of our roster," said executive producer, Dean Richards. "As three of the most globally recognized names in the sport, they are an important addition to the Fight Night Round 4 lineup."

EA also plans to release a separate game update (that will be free) for Fight Night Round 4 that will add new trunks, gloves and shorts to the game as well as an optional new control scheme. The free button control scheme will allow gamers to use the face buttons on the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers to throw punches, hooks, uppercuts and haymakers.

    We'll have more soon.
