News: Greatest. Title. Ever.

Move over The Conduit. Step aside MadWorld. Hit the road House of the Dead: Overkill. A new game has emerged as this Winter's hottest Wii title: Eduardo the Samurai Toaster.

Yes, you read that right.

Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is a 2D, sidescrolling WiiWare title from Semnat Studios. As the title implies, Eduardo is a samurai toaster who will be battling his way through 13 levels of Peking Opera pastries, spear toting carrots, robotic mangos and other food-based baddies. His arsenal of weapons will include a scooter tricked out with laser cannons, a jet pack and five different types of pastry weapons. That's right, Eduardo is packing killer Pop-Tarts.

The game will feature cooperative play for up to four players and the graphics will all be hand drawn (using mediums such as pen & ink, acrylic paint and charcoal).

Eduardo the Samurai Toaster will be available to download on WiiWare soon. And with a title like that and the ability to use lethal Pop-Tarts, Eduardo the Samurai Toaster will do doubt be a contender for Game of the Year 2009.
