News: Online magazine launches on PSN this Thursday.

Sony has announced that a monthly online magazine, dubbed Qore, will be available for download on the PlayStation Network starting this Thursday. The magazine (which will take the form of an interactive TV show hosted by frequent G4 guest Veronica Belmont) will be available for an introductory price of $2.99. A 13-month subscription will set you back $24.99.

Qore will be put together by Future Publishing, the company that also puts out PlayStation: The Official Magazine. Each episode will be a combination of game coverage, trailers and interviews. According to a Wired report on Qore, most of this content (between 80 and 90%) will not be available to non-subscribers. Each episode will also feature commercials from companies like Burger King, Activision and The Incredible Hulk movie.

Qore will also give subscribers exclusive access to certain game demos, betas, add-ons and other downloadable and game-related content. The Wired report confirms that the first such goodie will be an invite to the SOCOM: Confrontation beta. It is currently unknown how many of the extras will be available with a single episode purcahse as opposed to a full-year subscription.

Wired has also said that early subscribers will receive the downloadable game Calling All Cars as a subscription gift.
