News: You wanted it, you will get it.

In an interview with IGN, Polyphony president, Kazunori Yamauchi, mentioned that the team will be finally implement that damage patch and it could be as soon as fall. The series has never introduced the aspect of damage instead relying on the factor that it is not about the demolition, but the simulation of real racing. However, with games like Forza Motorsport 2, the bar for a good racing game has been set high and fans of the GT series are expecting no less than perfection.

This also means that we will possibly not be seeing the actual GT 5 in 2008 if the team is going to be working on Prologue until fall.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue will be released in the US on April 17th. For more information on the racing simulator, keep checking back here.
