News: I'm shocked.

Here's one for the obvious file, but it appears Sony has trademarked the title "Resistance 2". The trademark notice does not reveal any other details about the game (not even a subtitle), but it's nice to know that a sequel to Insomniac's stellar PS3 launch title is in the works.

Technically, nothing concerning Resistance 2 is official, except for it's existance. But I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's most likely coming to the PS3 and it's probably going to be released sometime in 2008.

We'll have more soon.
